Learn to build and run a laboratory quality management system based on the 12 quality system essentials and ISO 15189.

Quality Management System teaches you how medical laboratories make sure every result is accurate, reliable and timely.

You will learn the 12 quality system essentials and the requirements of ISO 15189, then work through organisation, personnel, facilities and safety, equipment, purchasing and inventory, and process control. You will cover quality control with Levey–Jennings charts and Westgard rules, method verification, external quality assessment, and documents and records.

The course finishes with information management, occurrence management, audits including SLIPTA and SLMTA, customer service and continual improvement.
